The stay here was wonderful out of town. The breakfast was satisfactory - plenty of meals - eggs, bangers and bacon. Location: the hotel was next to the centre of Sluis and the center of the Lock. Popped in Bistro Bar d'eau for shots before sleep, it was at a walking distance from the venue...
It had ugly views.

Welcoming staff, excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, comfortable and spacious bedroom with walk-in shower, convenient location for lift, car parking and reception, central location for walking into Sluis.
All was good.

We were very happily surprised with the hotel, staff, food and service and had an excellent stay in Sluis
Booking centre quoted 129 € and the hotel 188 € (which was duly corrected); light in bathroom insufficcient (for shaving etc.); separation glass between djacent balconies should not be transparent; Couples should be given two room keys as one key is needed to keep electricity going in the room(!)

very little
At the suggestion of Receptionist I upgraded to a superior room for £20 extra. She said it had a countryside view and other had a view of the street. The view from a superior room looked out onto car park with heavy machinery in it and then some countryside. I think the standard room would have had a better view, of Hotel car park with fountain!

Lovely sized room with all facilities expected. Breakfast was delicious. Reception staff very nice
No issues really however there was a fair amount of dust beside the head of the bed - appeared not to have been vacuumed in a while

We had a lovely stay at a charming hotel in Sluis. The room was cozy and the bathroom was impressive with a bathtub. The hotel even offered parking slots for convenience. The staff was kind and the breakfast included delicious Dutch treats like 'hagelslag' and 'bolletje beschuit'. I highly recommend this hotel.

Large comfortable room and good position of the Hotel. The male receptionist was very helpful. Excellent parking facilities.
On Saturday night there was a serious amount of noise from a dance band (So much we could not use the room) We raised the issue both verbally and in writing but have not had a reply after two weeks (the time they set themselves)

The location at edge of city was great, and Sluis itself a charming, engaging community. Breakfast was excellent.
Tho room was spacious it had pedestrian design and the twin beds were a downer. Charging for use of Wi-fi was off-putting. Price was much too high for the quality of the lodging.
